Central Alberta Cattery was cat boarding that provided your kitty with a vacation of their own, while you were off on your vacation. During the Cattery’s 9 years of operation, Rob was graced by nearly 1,000 different cats. Now that’s a lot of experience! At the end of July 2025, this service ended. However, if your cats don’t like a change of scenery (boarding), The Cattery offers fully insured/bonded in-home visits called MeowCheck!
Hi, my name is Rob. It bothered me that there was a real lack of quality cat care in central Alberta. That’s why I created Central Alberta Cattery. When I downsized, I introduced the in-home service called MeowCheck. While I offer a lot of the same features as other in-home cat visits, I offer a few things you don’t often see. It truly is a full on home check service!
Why MeowCheck?
With MeowCheck, you get peace of mind knowing that your cats are fed within the schedule you provide us. Furthermore, your home is checked on to ensure all the windows and doors are secured. Any signs of break-ins are reported. We check to see if there are any issues with water running. Your refrigerator and freezer are checked as well. And we work around the schedule that fits your needs. This is far and beyond more than just a cat sitting service!
Services included:
Complimentary brushings, treats (if allowed), play time (if your cats crave it), individual attention, and the standard home check procedures. If your cats require medication, we can administer it for a small fee (see Pricing). And if you wish, I can post pictures or videos of your cats online! That way you can see your kitties enjoying their vacation while you’re off enjoying your vacation. Always feel free to e-mail us with questions!
